The Opportunity 

We’re currently seeking a strategic Director of Sales to join our team. In this role, your main focus will be developing and managing sales and renewal pipelines, ultimately selling the Lineup platform. You will earn and keep each client’s respect and confidence as a trusted advisor. The Director/VP of Sales will acquire in-depth knowledge of and be conversant in the client’s business – their key issues, competitive situation, industry trends and individual market dynamics. Our ideal candidate is an engaging presenter who excels at establishing and nurturing relationships.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Responsible for qualifying sales and renewal pipelines and selling the Lineup offerings. (50%) 

  • Work with Lineup Business Development, Product and Sales Management on financial modeling, competitive and market analysis to certify segment viability. Take the lead to ensure that the offering remains leading edge. (20%) 

  • Cultivate relationships within existing and relevant client accounts. (10%) 

  • Routinely refines and executes partnership pitch presentations with the Lineup Design Team. (10%) 

  • Responsible for keeping management apprised of progress toward established ROI goals, and on the progress of closing identified prospects. Use of internal CRM to track sales activity and client contact information. (10%) 


What you need for this role: 

  • A minimum education level of BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field. 

  • SaaS sales experience.

  • 5-7 years of related experience in sales, communication, marketing support or a related field. 

  • Strong natural selling skills with proven experience in pitch and strategic positioning. 

  • Proven track record of negotiating with the ability to improvise. 

  • Ability to perform successfully within a fast-paced, results-driven, dynamic and highly collaborative and changing work environment. 

  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends and holidays, travel extensively through domestic US. 

  • Proven ability to listen, extrapolate information and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to meet client/prospect needs. 

  • Ability to work closely with other sales resources to ensure total account opportunity is capitalized on. 

  • Must have the ability to understand the big picture and successfully position solution strategies, product demonstrations and presentations appropriately. 

  • Solid understanding of budgeting spend and identifying meaningful KPIs.  

  • Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies and negotiating creative solutions. 

  • Exemplary problem-solving, communication and presentation skills. 

  • Ability to synergize the efforts of individuals and teams from multiple business units to accomplish the goals of the company. 

  • Possess a high degree of poise and professionalism when presenting and interacting with internal and external clients. 

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); and ability to learn required business systems.

Lineup is up and running in multiple pilot locations, enabling continued iteration of the key features and refinement of the predictive model.
