The HR Business Partner (BP) Leader will work with leaders to execute strategic business priorities with an emphasis on talent, culture, diversity and inclusion, and change management. The HRBP Leader will build this function and lead a team of HRBPs aligned across the core business and enabling areas of the company. The primary purpose of this team is be a strategic business partner with the leadership teams to enable the success of the business through innovative and transformational solutions.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following experiences, listed in order of importance:

  • 10+ years of progressive HRBP leadership experience preferably in the financial services and/or insurance industries with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and critical stakeholders. Proven ability to lead other HRBPs.
  • 10+ years of experience applying Human Resource practices and processes that directly align with the specific responsibilities for this position (goal setting, performance assessment and improvement, compensation practices, talent review and talent management, workforce planning, reductions in force, manager development).
  • Leading transformational change, managing stakeholders, achieving buy-in among disparate audiences, and delivering results in a variety of settings.
  • Providing strategic counsel to the senior leadership in the areas of organizational effectiveness, organizational design, talent management, succession, employee development and executive coaching. Partners closely with senior leaders to establish credibility as a trusted advisor to influence and support key strategic and operational decisions.
  • Enabling continued growth and business needs by identifying talent gaps and development areas across the organization and building solutions to address these areas in partnership with the HR networks of expertise. 
  • Learning new industries, operating models, and/or business approaches and quickly applying personal knowledge and skills to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cultivating an environment where Diversity and Inclusion are leveraged to drive business value.
  • Experience developing, monitoring, measuring and maintaining multi-million-dollar, multi-year plans and budgets.
  • Coaching and developing leaders and direct reports with proven results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Learning, or HR -or- equivalent work experience. Master’s degree and SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
