Position Title: Marketing Manager  

 

About the Job: 

 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and tracking of compelling customer and consumer programs across a variety of marketing channels. In partnership with the Marketing Strategist, the Marketing Manager leverages consumer and customer intelligence to produce highly targeted, lead generating campaigns and deliverables for precision marketing through digital and traditional marketing channels. The Marketing Manager tracks and measures key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting to drive optimal results. This role activates and optimizes partnership marketing opportunities aligned with business segment objectives, target customer segments and preferred markets. The Marketing Manager 2 ensures marketing deliverables and programs reflect strong Westfield brand alignment to drive awareness, preference, and loyalty for Westfield. 

 

Essential Functions (primary functions and/or reasons the job exists in order of importance)

 

  •     Responsible for the development, implementation and tracking of compelling customer and consumer programs across a variety of marketing channels. 

    •    Leverages consumer and customer intelligence to produce highly targeted, lead generating campaigns and deliverables for precision marketing through digital and traditional marketing channels. 

    •    Leverages a marketing mindset, marketing technical acumen, strong influencing, and relationship management to partner inside and outside the Marketing department to create effective consumer and customer campaigns, project plans, timelines, and performance measurement. 

  •     Creates robust, data-driven marketing campaigns to drive profitable growth in key target customer segments, markets and industry sectors utilizing relevant digital and traditional marketing channels including paid media and search, print, direct mail, email marketing and mobile.

  •     Serves as a primary steward of inbound and outbound marketing activities to consumers and customers-generating leads, seizing opportunities for cross-sell, up-sell and driving acquisition, conversion, and retention. 

  •     Measures and monitors performance of marketing campaigns and deliverables, iterating and adjusting to ensure delivery of stated objectives and outcomes, reporting results frequently. 

    •    Tracks and measures key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting to drive optimal results. 

    •    Utilizes external resources as necessary to build, execute and track marketing programs and metrics. 

  •     Activates and optimizes partnership marketing opportunities aligned with business objectives and target customer segments to drive profitable growth for Westfield. 

  •    Ensures marketing deliverables and programs reflect strong Westfield brand alignment. 

  •    Creates personalized engaging brand touch points to drive brand loyalty, awareness, preference, profitable customer growth and optimal retention rates. 

  •    Collaborates across the Marketing & Corporate Communications teams to ensure proper alignment, prioritization, and resource allocations to deliver projects and/or campaigns

  •     Applies marketing methodologies and a project management rigor to all efforts and activities. Understands core project and agile methodologies.

  •     Documents and reports on program and campaign key milestones. Develops executive summaries of project status for enterprise leaders including crafting marketing briefs as appropriate.

  •     Manages client expectations, including timelines, project outputs, and overall deliverable expectations. 

 

Desired Qualifications/Experience/Certification/Education (in order of importance)

 

  •    7+ years of marketing experience developing and implementing marketing strategies and plans through digital and traditional consumer marketing channels. 

  •    7+ years of digital consumer marketing experience with paid media platforms and measurement tools including SEO, SEM, email marketing, paid search, and basic webpage design via a content management system.

  •    7 + years’ experience as a skilled in copywriting and concept execution in both traditional and digital formats to engage, drive and convert consumers into customers, maintain customers and grow portfolio choices among customers. 

  •    Experience leveraging marketing and marketing communications mediums (e.g. video production, direct mail) as vehicles of engagement and conversion utilizing creative as a method to engage appropriate audiences and build awareness, preference, choice, and loyalty. 

  •    Experience marketing intangible products where direct to customer, consumer marketing and customer communication is required

  •    Experience managing projects of various size, scope, and budget.

  •    Exceptional organizational and communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

  •    Results-oriented, fact-driven with high energy, a positive attitude and excellent probing and listening skills

  •    Ability to build effective business partnerships through strong collaboration, influence, creative problem solving, and negotiation skills.

  •    Consultative ability, solution-orientation, and ability to effectively collaborate with others to achieve results despite barriers. 

  •    Change agent with energy, passion, and drive to plan, mobilize, execute, and influence within a well-established organization and culture.

  •    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field or commensurate experience. 

  •   Valid driver’s license and a driving record that conforms to company standards

 

Physical Requirements (specific to the role) 

 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  

 

  •    Ability to work effectively in an office environment for 40+ hours per week (including sitting, standing, and working on a computer for extended periods of time).

  •    Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as:  telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, e-mail, etc.

  •    Ability to travel as required.

  •    Ability to operate an automobile within the parameters of the driving policy.

 

Salary Range and Benefits:

  • Full time opportunity.
  • Salary Range: Minimum: $87,445.00 - Midpoint: $100,562.00  
  • Annual Bonus Plan
