The Senior Recruiter role serves as a talent consultant and advisor to business units and focuses primarily on attracting, sourcing, and selecting diverse talent. The ability to demonstrate business acumen and a deep understanding of the business unit’s strategy; passive candidate research; sourcing and attraction skills; ability to select talent; influencing and negotiation skills; and an understanding of the external talent marketplace are key skills.  The Senior Recruiter helps drive desired company-wide Talent Acquisition outcomes through planning; execution of differentiated processes; and analysis and measurement using defined metrics.  The incumbent helps leaders align talent acquisition plans and strategy with hiring decisions, identifies creative and varied sources of qualified talent, screens talent effectively, influences hiring leaders to prioritize and plan talent acquisition needs, and advises hiring leaders regarding key attributes that matter most to selection of qualified and diverse candidates.  

 

Hybrid or remote opportunity based on location.  

 

Qualifications -

Required:

  • 5 or more years of professional talent acquisition experience.

  • 2 or more years of candidate sourcing experience.

  • Prior talent acquisition experience in a relationship-based customer service-oriented environment.  Prior experience in managing multiple business unit relationships, including the ability to support multiple leadership teams.

Preferred: 

  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems ie Taleo, various recruiting software systems and Microsoft Office suite of applications, as well as broad knowledge of sourcing tools and techniques.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

 

Physical Requirements -     
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  

  • Ability to work effectively in an office environment for 40+ hours per week (including sitting, standing and working on a computer for extended periods of time).

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as:  telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, e-mail etc.

  • Ability to travel as required.
